Open Question: method of variations of parameter for homogenious?

by the method of variation of parameters for the following equation, could someone go though the steps
1) Find independent solutions u1(x), u2(x) of the corresponding homogeneous differential equation
2) Determine derivates of v’(x) and v’(x) for y(x) = u1v1 + u2v2
3) The final general solution

Equation:
y’ + 9y = -3 x+5
