One Tin Soldier- I thought this song was very deep when we sung it at Church camp. Now it’s appallingness just overwhelms me. (1) No battle in history ever ended with just one soldier riding away, especially not medieval themed ones where people actually had to stab and hack at one another. Stupid! (2) No battle in history ever involved two armies fighting for a treasure when nobody knows what that treasure is. Stupid! (3) The pause at the end of the chorus in between “the blood morning after”
