U2 rocker Bono has hailed guitarist The Edge as a “genius” - comparing his bandmate to famous artist Vincent Van Gogh. The Irish star made the comments during a response to a positive Rolling Stone magazine review about the reissue of U2’s Boy album.

I’m serious.. it goes ewwwwh…aaaaaah over & over & I’m positive that it’s a U2 song. I believe that it was released within 10 years ago.. I used to hear it all the time on the radio but can’t remember the name. I have gone through tons of their songs but haven’t found it.
